WORLD NETWORK OF PRAYER DIRECTOR
Elaine Griffiths

Sister Griffiths was born, raised and educated in Kingston, Jamaica. Serving the Lord was a decision she made as a child and as a result, was active in the ministry including singing in a gospel group that toured the Island of Jamaica and other neighboring islands.  She also enjoyed her work as a dental assistant.

Since immigrating to Canada in 1970 she received a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Bachelor of Theology through the Genesis Institute of Theology (January 2010) and diploma in Dressmaking from NAIT (1986).

She is grateful for the plan that the Lord had for her. God led her to a church that taught the oneness message where she received the revelation of the oneness of God and the plan of Salvation.  Over the years she has grown spiritually and has dedicated her life to the Lord forever.  At present she is helping her husband as he pastors Grace Pentecostal Church Edmonton including in the worship, women, children and evangelism ministries.  Additionally, this year, she will be assisting in the prison ministry.   She considers it an honour to serve the Canadian Plains District as its prayer coordinator and is excited about what God is doing in this District as a result of the united prayer of the saints.

YOUTH SECRETARY
Rev. Blaine Covill

Blaine P. Covill is the youth secretary of the Canadian Plains District, which has a burgeoning youth demographic on the cusp of revival.  He is from Regina, Saskatchewan, and serves his home church, New Life TABERNACLE, as the Worship Director. He formerly served as youth leader for five years from May 2009 to August 2013, as well as the section youth leader in Saskatchewan for almost four years.  He is gloriously single and searching for the one who will support and complement his mission and ministry.  He carries a burden for young people and loves to see them develop into strong, mature Christians serving the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength.  His favourite verse of Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
